Our Security

With regard to security and contingency planning, our success in getting the TAPA Class-A certificate and the adoption of the C-TPAT practice are good demonstration of our compliance to the stringent requirements. Our 24 hours security system provides functions in dealing with people, equipment and facilities, access control and management activities. Contingency Plans are also in place to deal with situations whereby normal business can potentially be disrupted.

In compliance with the TAPA requirements, somewhat like ISO Standard but in Security aspects along the supply chain, EWL invested half-millions to upgrade the security infrastructure in the warehouses and employed a few logistics consultation to review and enhance our operating procedures and handling integrity. Our CCTV is now digital recording with 60-day retention period covering every angle in the warehouse including the trucking bay. In addition, we have 24-hour security guards position in the warehouse to safe guard the cargoes.

These enhancements could not only protect both our liability interests, but also enhance our client's competitiveness in recruiting high-value cargo customers who may demand for TAPA certificate.

We are the 1st CFS company that accredited with TAPA certificate standard
